The Glen Golf Club is one of the most popular of East Lothian golf courses.
In the 17th century Golf was first played in North Berwick on these historic East Links. Originally laid out as a nine-hole course in 1894, the Glen Golf Course was extended to 18 holes in 1906.
James Braid and Ben Sayers provided the design. Suiting players of all abilities the course is a challenging, but a fair, 6275 yards par-70 for men off the medal tees, and a par-73 5,773 yards for ladies.
The Glen enjoys a breathtaking cliff top location, with many spectacular holes offering views of the Firth of Forth and its islands, including the Bass Rock, the world renowned bird sanctuary.
Your first couple of tee shots may end up at the bottom of the hill, but don't be discouraged, as the course only gets easier as you move along.
The Glen is an all year round course and is seldom closed due to weather, playing normal greens and tees throughout the year.
The Glen Golf Club provides the very best golf facilities in Scotland. The club features buggy hire, trolley hire, a fully equipped Pro Shop, changing facilities, overseas members, and a state-of-the-art clubhouse.
